Community Learning Services

Group And Individual

Community Learning Services (CLS) support the participant’s integration in the community. Services will meet the participant’s needs and preferences for active community participation.

CLS-Group: Includes small groups of participants and staff members going into the community to improve social and networking skills, maintaining friendships, independently use community resources, develop and retain social valued roles and other skills required for active community participation. CLS-Group is often paired with the Adult Day Health service.

CLS-Individual: Provides a Direct Support Worker to work one on one to improve the participant’s access to the community through public events, enrichment activities, and other skills and natural supports as appropriate for the individual specified in their Individualized Service Plan.
