Residential Habilitation
Residential Habilitation (ResHab) services are individually tailored supports provided in a licensed or certified home setting designed to assist with skills related to living in the community. Supports include Activities of Daily Living, going to doctor visits, shopping for the home, participating in family like outings and community events, social and leisure skill development, along with other skill building and assistance appropriate for his/her needs.
There are two models where ResHab services are delivered: the Agency Model and the Shared Living Model
Agency Model: Services are provided in a group home
Shared Living Model: Services are provided in a private home
